A hydraulic lamination press applies even pressure across a flat working area while heated platens cure the rubber compound and bond it to the substrate. The flat-bed design is suited for sheet materials, layered assemblies, and continuous or cut-to-size lamination where consistent pressure distribution across the full platen surface is essential.

What is the difference between a lamination press and a compression molding press? 

A lamination press uses a flat-bed platen design intended for bonding sheet materials and layered assemblies. A compression molding press is designed around closing a mold cavity under pressure to form a specific part shape. The two types overlap in some applications but are configured differently.

Yes. Multi-daylight configurations allow multiple layers or panels to be pressed simultaneously, which is common in belting, coated fabric, and sheet goods applications where throughput is important.
