Built and Rebuilt In-House—In Southern California

WCRM operates an 85,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Southern California where every piece of equipment we build or rebuild is handled by our own technicians. From raw fabrication to final OSHA-certified testing, our work stays in-house from start to finish.

West Coast Rubber Machinery operates an 85,000 sq. ft. facility in Southern California housing in-house machining, fabrication, roll grinding, hard chrome plating, hydraulic press manufacturing, and AS-9100 certified assembly. All equipment rebuilds are completed and tested on-site before shipment.

A Dedicated Rebuild Operation

Our rebuild floor is designed to handle complete mill and press teardowns—full disassembly, cleaning, inspection, component replacement, and reassembly. What we find during teardown drives the scope; nothing ships until it passes final testing.

  • Complete Disassembly & Inspection: Full teardown, cleaning, and component-by-component evaluation to identify wear, damage, and items requiring replacement.
  • OEM-Level Reassembly: New bearings, gears, seals, guiding hardware, and operator controls installed to restore original or improved performance specifications.
  • Controls & Safety Upgrades: Integration of modern electrical controls, variable frequency drives, and updated safety systems including overhead rocker bars, emergency stops, and operator control stations.
  • Documented & Certified: OSHA stopping-distance testing, safety certification, and build documentation completed before every machine ships.

The Tools to Handle Demanding Work

Our facility is equipped to handle the heavy, precise work that rubber processing equipment demands. That includes manufacturing new equipment from the ground up and restoring legacy machines to full operating condition.

  • CNC and Manual Lathes: Journal polishing, bore machining, and precision turning for rolls, cylinders, and housings.
  • Roll Grinding Equipment: Dedicated grinding and plating capability for production mill rolls up to full production size.
  • Heavy Welding & Fabrication: Structural fabrication for press frames, mill housings, and platen assemblies.
  • Hydraulic Test Stands: Pressure testing and system validation for hydraulic circuits on new and rebuilt equipment.
