Our certifications reflect the operational standards we hold our facility and our team to—particularly in assembly and final equipment testing.

AS-9100 Certified Assembly

Our assembly operations are AS-9100 certified, a quality management standard used across aerospace and high-reliability manufacturing that demands documented processes, traceability, and consistent output. This certification applies to how we assemble hydraulic and mechanical systems across our new builds and rebuilds.

OSHA Safety Certification

Every rebuilt rubber mill is subject to OSHA stopping-distance testing and certification before shipment. We perform the test, document the results, and provide the certification as part of the completed rebuild package.

AMS-2460 Chrome Plating

Mill roll hard chrome plating is performed to AMS-2460 specification—an aerospace-grade standard—at 0.005″ to 0.007″ thickness, followed by finish grinding and polishing to 20 RMS surface finish.

Our certifications are only part of the picture. The quality of WCRM’s work also comes from the depth of our rebuild process, our in-house machining standards, and the fact that everything is tested before it ships.

  • Component-Level Inspection: Every rebuild begins with complete disassembly and individual inspection of all components—rolls, journals, bearings, gears, hydraulics, and electrical systems—before any replacement decisions are made.
  • In-House Machining Standards: Our machinists work to tight tolerances for journal polishing, bearing fit, and surface finishing. We do not outsource critical machining work.
  • Full Mechanical Testing Before Shipment: Rebuilt equipment is reassembled, run, and tested in our facility. We do not ship a machine until it passes.
  • Build Documentation: Each rebuild is documented throughout the process—inspection findings, parts replaced, certifications achieved—so you receive a clear record of the work performed.

What does AS-9100 certification cover at WCRM?

AS-9100 certification applies to our assembly operations. It means our assembly processes follow a documented, audited quality management system that ensures consistent, traceable results across builds and rebuilds.

Does every rebuilt machine receive OSHA certification?

Yes. Every rebuilt rubber mill that ships from our facility includes OSHA stopping-distance testing and the supporting certification documentation.

What is the chrome plating specification for mill rolls?

We plate mill rolls to AMS-2460 specification at 0.005″ to 0.007″ thickness. After plating, rolls are finish-ground and polished to a 20 RMS surface finish.

Do you provide build documentation with a rebuild?

Yes. We provide documentation covering the inspection findings, components replaced, and certifications achieved as part of the completed rebuild package.
